WiMax is the most cost-effective broadband wireless technology - Craig Barrett

“WiMax is the most cost-effective broadband wireless technology, especially for countries that don’t have a strong wired network. In India, we are in talks with companies for developing WiMax capabilities and with the government for including WiMax in 3G spectrum allocation,” Intel Corporation chairman Craig Barrett said at a media briefing.

“Governments must allocate spectrum with the best technology available and not protect legacy technology,” he added. Mr Barrett, who is at present on his ninth visit to India, reiterated that the country is high on Intel’s priority list, despite having lost out to China and Vietnam as a manufacturing location for the company. “

A recently disclosed fraud involving hundreds of thousands of people on the Monster.com jobs Web site reveals the perils of leaving detailed personal information online, security analysts say.

My advice to the young job seekers or those acitve on social network is that do not provide all the sensitive personal info in your profile like.

Name of ur employer/your residential address/cell no/account no /savings info.

When contacted by specific party/person then work out the details with them. After all there are so many crooked fellow around.
